A gourmet red wine "Ma cuvée" IGP Hautes-Alpes to match truffles!
Domaine Allemand's advice.
With its "integral" vinification, manual punching of the cap and 15-month aging in French oak barrels, the red "Ma cuvée" is made from Mollard, melort and cabernet franc grapes from the Durance hillsides. The attack is full-bodied. Powerful on the palate, with silky, supple tannins... Beautiful aromatic intensity, with notes of spices (cinnamon, vanilla), cognac, caramel and roasting, as well as ripe, crushed raspberries... On the finish, a hint of freshness and the mineral structure that is the hallmark of the estate's cuvées.
A perfect match for truffle dishes or red meats such as prime rib.
Tip: Open the wine a few hours before tasting.
