Floods, forest fires, landslides... Discover the Avance and Durance valleys on themed walks dedicated to understanding natural hazards. These educational walks invite you to explore the visible traces of these phenomena over time and to learn how to protect yourself.
At the gateway to the Écrins, come and enjoy the freshness of the beech and fir forests, before arriving on immense high altitude pastures. The view opens out over the entire Gapençais basin, from Devoluy to Lake Serre-Ponçon. As you approach the Croix St-Philippe and its immense panorama, behind the ruins of an abandoned village, you will literally be walking on an ancient seabed, rich in fossils!
