A sporty itinerary that allows you to discover the forests of Saint-Etienne-Le-Laus and offers superb views of the Avance and Durance valleys.

Departure / Arrival : Saint Etienne le Laus
From the car park, head towards the top of the village.

Arriving at the crow's feet, take the road leading off to the right in the direction of the Fours chapel. Continue on this ascending road and gradually leave the village. The tarmac road leads straight to the chapel of Les Fours. Take time to admire it before continuing on a rather steep ascending path towards Peyre Enoze.

The path leads to the road, continue towards the lower pass on the ascending track opposite. The track runs between woods and cultivated fields. VIEWPOINT - Enjoy the beautiful views of the Céüse mountains, Pic de Bure, Pic de Gleize and Vieux Chaillol (from west to north).

When the track takes a 45 degree turn, leave it for a nice path in the undergrowth on the right. Begin the ascent to the Bas Col on this. It crosses the Grand Bois and its torrents. Once you reach the track, take it in the direction of the climb, on the left, to leave it again once you reach the next hairpin. Then take the Bois de Colombes path on the right in the hairpin. Cross the eponymous torrent and continue the ascent on this path until you reach a track.

Continue the ascent on this track, called "Route Forestière des Quatre Séries" by the left, in the direction of the Saint-Pierre chapel. Keep to this direction to join the road and continue on it downhill until you reach Combe Reynaud

(From this point there is the possibility of observing the Chapelle Saint Pierre about 10 minutes round trip). Go straight ahead on the track towards Mont Colombis, which soon becomes a road. 200 m further on, go straight ahead again on the ascending path. This leads to a road.

Begin the descent towards Saint-Etienne-Le-Laus by taking the road on the left. At the next intersection, at Basses Aubrias, turn left again to go down to the pass. Leave the road and take a track that turns 180° to the right. Gradually leave the fields and cross the Bois du Seigneur. Continue straight ahead. Continue to the left, keeping the direction of Saint-Etienne-Le-Laus. The track soon becomes a road. Continue along the main road towards the village centre and the start car park.
