The beaches of the Durance
Situated along the Durance River, the 3 Lakes leisure park is a veritable paradise for summer bathing. Situated between Gap and Lac de Serre-Ponçon, the site features 3 lakes in the heart of a preserved natural environment.
Halfway between Gap and Lac de Serre-Ponçon, nestled in a beautiful forest, the base offers a haven of peace ideal for rejuvenating in the heart of nature, with family or friends. The gently sloping beaches are particularly suitable for young children.
A family-friendly site
Supervised swimming in July and August at Lac des Pins
Just a stone's throw from Gap and Lac de Serre-Ponçon, this site is a little corner of paradise nestling on the banks of the Durance.
Everything you need for a great family day out: free parking, fire pit, petanque court, dry toilets, bike lockers and a gently sloping beach ideal for children. All in a pleasant, shady setting to enjoy the summer days in complete tranquillity.
In July and August, swimming is supervised at Lac des Pins. Thanks to the lifeguard station, young and old alike can enjoy the water in a safe and reassuring environment for parents.
A footpath also allows you to walk along the lakes and discover the many activities on offer on the site: wakeboarding, kayaking, fishing and many other nature-based leisure activities.
Since 2019, the communauté de communes Serre-Ponçon Val d'Avance, in partnership with the French State, the Région Sud and the Département des Hautes-Alpes, has been renovating and embellishing the site year after year. Les Écolodges des 3 lacs campsite
A family campsite on the banks of the Durance
Les Ecolodges des 3 Lacs welcomes you to Rochebrune, in the Durance valley between Provence and the Hautes-Alpes, just 15 minutes from Lac de Serre-Ponçon. On site, you'll find a small grocery store selling local produce, and a restaurant/pizzeria 'Ô 3 Lacs' adjoining the campsite.

Cable wakeboarding
On Lac des Saules, on the banks of the Durance river, a water ski lift equipped with modules has been installed for cable wakeboarding. The Authentic Wakepark school offers wakeboard and wakeskate lessons and introductory courses for children aged 6 and over.
You can also take advantage of the cable towed buoy, accessible from age 5, for a fun activity that's accessible to the whole family!
What is wakeboarding?
Wakeboarding is a discipline derived from water skiing. It involves being pulled along the water, in a lateral position similar to that of surfing. First introduced in the 1970s under the name of Skurf (the ancestor of wakeboarding), the sport was originally practiced behind a boat. Today, the water ski lift offers a more ecological and environmentally-friendly alternative, thanks to its electric operation.

Natura 2000 site
The 3 Lacs leisure park is located in a protected natural area that is home to sensitive species. To preserve this exceptional site, please observe the following rules:
- Do not enter the reed beds
- Do not fish for frogs
- Do not pick plants or damage vegetation
- Dogs are forbidden, even on a leash ( Dog guard 5 min away) DOG EVASION )
- No animals allowed in the water (dogs, horses, etc.) to ensure optimum water quality
- Unauthorized camping, barbecues outside authorized areas and motorized vehicles are prohibited
On-site fishing The 3 lakes
The 3 Rochebrune lakes are a series of easily accessible lakes on the banks of the Durance. They offer an interesting alternative to river fishing, particularly for :
- anglers looking for calmer areas ;
- those wishing to fish for carp or carnivorous fish.
These lakes are often cited as attractive spots for families or amateurs looking for less technical fishing than the Durance.
The 3 lakes festival
Every year at the end of July, the 3 lakes celebrate! A lively day out with friends and family, featuring free entertainment, shows, a concert and a visual and pyrotechnic show on the lakes.
