Cave des Hautes-Vignes

Presentation

A terroir, grape varieties from our mountains! Founded in 1950, the Cave des Hautes Vignes is the only cooperative winery in the Hautes-Alpes. It gathers and vinifies the grapes of the Avance and Durance hillsides under the Protected Geographical Indication.

The Cave des Hautes Vignes gathers and vinifies grapes from the slopes of the Avance and Durance rivers, where the local Mollard grape variety is mixed with new vines of Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Roussanne ...

Our vineyard is located between 600 and 700 metres above sea level, which makes us one of the highest wine cellars in Europe.

In a few figures:
- 75 hectares of vines in Protected Geographical Indication
- 2 estates in organic farming.
- 80 co-operators.
- 14 references of wines.

The Cave des Hautes Vignes is located on the edge of the D942 at the entrance of the village of Valserres.
