Reflets d'enfance concert

Marie Vermeulin and Suzana Bartal are two of the leading pianists of their generation, musicians with solid careers that are contested in the most prestigious concert halls in Europe and around the world. For these concerts, they share the keyboard to perform a programme of French music for four hands. In the midst of this vast and abundant repertoire, they have designed a charming promenade that exudes the fragrance of childhood. Maurice Ravel's Ma Mère l'Oye, inspired by the fairy tales of Perrault, is written in a simple, uncluttered style; Georges Bizet's Jeux d'Enfants is a treasure trove of invention and mischief; and Florentine Mulsant's Memories was commissioned for the two pianists by the Espace Culturel de Chaillol. A recital for the ears of the youngest listeners and for all those who have kept within them the memory of the joys of childhood.
